Description
Take a once in a lifetime fishing adventure on Darwin Reef 'n' Wrecks 2 Day, 2 Night Ultimate Fishing Adventure. Fishing remote areas of the Top End, up to 100 nautical miles off shore to the exclusive grounds of Flat Top Banks, Peron Islands or the Tiwi Islands.
Our vessel 'Fortitude' is an outstanding 65ft Conquest with plenty of room for 12 anglers to sleep in air conditioned comfort. She's equipped with all the latest in marine technology and safety gear , there is a twin lounge area to enjoy sit down meals, a fully equipped kitchen, male and female bathrooms with hot shower and most importantly a fully shaded walk around back deck.
Your adventure starts at 7pm on Friday night when you met your crew and get ready to depart from Cullen Bay at 8pm. Whilst watching the lights of Darwin's skyline disappearing on the horizon, after a few snacks and drinks we retire to our comfy bunks to wake up at first light and wet a line.
Over the next two days get ready for an arm stretching exercise targeting species such as Large Flowery Cod, Black Jewfish, Golden Snapper, Small mouth and Large mouth Nanigai, Tricky Snapper, Giant Trevally, Red Emperor, Spanish Mackerel and Coral Trout.
On the Flat Top Banks trips we will also introduce you to some rare Indonesian varieties and some real fighters such as the Giant Reef Jack & Red Jew all of which are just a small range of species that inhabit these pristine Top End waters.
After fishing the outer reefs in the morning of Day 2, we depart for our steam back to Darwin around lunchtime, arriving back at Cullen Bay by 4pm.
Your crew has many years experience fishing the Top End waters and pride themselves on providing a fishing experience never to be forgotten! Whilst on board the crew will prepare all meals and all your catch can be kept and filleted according to NT Fisheries regulations, airline approved boxes are available for a small cost to transport your fish interstate.
Included In Price
All quality rods and reels (on a replace if lost basis), tackle, bait, eskys and ice. Cooked breakfasts, smorgasboard lunch's, reef n beef dinner, snacks throughout the day, cold water, soft drinks, tea and coffee, all bedding plus towel.
