Itinerary:
Day 1 Haba Cruises- Great Barrier Reef- ex Port Douglas DEPARTS DAILY
Your day begins with courtesy coach transfer from your accommodation to the Marina Mirage.
Coffee, tea and muffins are available onboard upon your arrival.
Travel to the Outer Reef with safety & dive briefing enroute
5 hours on the very Outer Edge of The Great Barrier Reef at 2 sites for snorkelling, diving, glass bottom boat tours or simply relaxing.
All water sports create an appetite and a day on the Reef would not be the same without a delicious, fresh Tropical Buffet Lunch.
Reef Brief commences when our Marine Biologist will explain to you the corals, fish and ecology of The Great Barrier Reef.
The second unique location brings with it the opportunity to participate in The Guided Snorkel Tour where the information discussed in the Reef Brief is brought to life before your eyes.
Afternoon Tea is served and we depart the Outer Reef for arrival back in Port Douglas at approximately 4:30 p.m.
We provide your transfer back to your accommodation or you can have a an afternoon shop or "Sundowners" at Marina Mirage.

Walk in the footsteps of the world’s oldest living culture.
You will learn and experience our area’s rich Aboriginal history and culture,
combined with the oldest living rainforest on the planet
Niau Water Falls in the World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park
exclusive to Adventure North Australia.
Today you will be collected from your accommodation and travel along one of Australia’s most scenic coastal drives as we travel north of Port Douglas, to Cooya Beach where Kubirri Warra brothers, Brandan and Linc of Kuku Yalanji Cultural Habitat Tours will teach you how to throw a spear. Walk with the brothers on their traditional lands where you can hunt whilst stalking and observing wildlife and country. Learn how to track coastal resources through the mangroves. Search and hunt for fish, mud crabs and mussels. See and try bush tucker and bush medicines. Nothing is wasted.
Enjoy morning tea of fresh homemade damper, tea/coffee and the catch of the day on the balcony of their family home, overlooking the ocean. The Walker boys demonstrate different Aboriginal artifacts and their uses. Maybe learn how to play a didgeridoo.
We continue north to the Daintree Village, for a 1 hour river cruise on the mighty Daintree River. Have a picnic lunch on the shores of the river before we continue to the spectacular Niau Falls and Tranquility on the Daintree - a secluded 450acre private property. The Niau falls are a pristine natural wonder waiting for you to discover. You will see strange, primitive plants and learn about the original French settler family. Hear of their incredible story of survival. Your guided rainforest walk will unlock the secrets of this fascinating eco-system. Time for a swim in this magical rainforest environment, (don’t forget your swimmers). Your amazing day of discovery comes to a close as you are returned to your accommodation.

What to bring and wear:
Covered (closed-in) walking shoes must be worn (Rainbow Serpent & Bloomfield Falls Tours). Beach shoes for walking in water (Coastal Beach Walk) a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent. Cameras are welcome on all tours.
