Live on board "Fortitude" our luxury Mother ship, anchored in calm water at the mouth of the river we are fishing at the time. Our experienced guides in game fishing will take you along the river system fishing for the famous Barramundi.
Fortitude comes with 3 barra boats with guides, can sleep 11 passengers in air/con bunk beds.
Individual or Group bookings are available all year except January and February.
"Fortitude" a 65ft Conquest ex cray boat is a luxurious and well maintained vessel with a fully shaded walk around deck and Fly bridge, which is surveyed for up to 200 NM offshore. Parties are to a maximum of 11 persons and each will have an air conditioned bunk with bedding and towels provided. Seperate male and female Showers/toilet have hot fresh water. Your crew will prepare superb meals, comfortable seating to relax, or chat and have a drink with friends whilst travelling. Fortitude is fitted with all the safety gear, the latest marine technology plasma TV, Internet and Satelite phone. A de-salination plant ensures plenty of fresh water on board for those hollywood showers, and all modern amenities. Fortitude is available for sole charters on demand, the vessel can sleep 12 passenger, with 3 barra boats.
The crew: fully qualified skipper's and barra guides who have many years experience fishing these waters and they are always on hand to assist, they pride themselves on providing a Darwin fishing experience never to be forgotten.
The Barramuni is Australia's premier freshwater/estuarine sports fish and the Northern Territory is home to this unique fighting fish.
For 5 Day Trips: Your skipper and his experienced crew will take you on our mother ship Fortitude to reach some exclusive & remote areas of the Top Ends coast. You will travel to The moil or little Moil rivers, to Cape Ford and the mouth of the Daly River, or up towards the Arnhem land coast fishing the mini mini system.
Target fish species: Fish the reefs of the Perron Islands for, Threadfin Salmon, Black Jewfish, Coral Trout, Golden Snapper, Cod, Spanish Mackerel, Red Emperor, Robinsons Deep Sea Bream and other mixed reef species.

Quality Shimano and Diawa rods & reels, plus bait casters for estuarine fishing; All tackle bait & Ice; all sleeping gear pillows, linen, towel and blankets; all day tea/coffee & soft drink, iced water; all fish cleaned & prepared ready to take home, airline approved fish boxes available at an extra cost; iced eskys for alcohol; two barra boats and experienced guides.

Participant Guidelines
What you need to bring: Personal toiletries, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera ( 240 volt power available on board) and a change of clothes. BYO alcohol, this can be arranged through Darwin Fishing Office prior to the charter.
