What to bring
IMPORTANT! - Cradle Mountain sits at approx 900m altitude. It is cooler here than in Launceston. Due to the mountaineous terrain the weather if very changeable. We have experienced snow during summer. Please come prepared with a waterproof jacket and/or warm jumper. ALSO, please come suitably prepared for sun protection.

A word about Tassie's weather … the sun is harsh, if it's shining you will want to ‘slip, slop & slap'. The weather can change quickly; we always recommend bringing a warm jumper and a rain jacket … just in case!
