Slip into some comfortable clothes, pick up a rod and cast your line into the sparkling water of one of these 10 spectacular ponds. EcoPark Fishing World welcomes you whether you come alone, bring the whole family, or book a corporate day or social function in the park. You have the pleasure of fishing, whether it is bait fishing using spinning reels or learn the noble art of fly fishing for those who want more of a challenge. Learn to fish for the first time, improve your casting technique or just fish, relax and leave the cares of the world behind you.
Tired of going to the bay to fish and not catching a single fish? At Ecopark Fishing World there are thousands of fish to catch with ponds filled with Barramundi, Barcoo Grunter, Sooty Grunter, Silver Perch, Eel tailed catfish, Saratoga, Australian Bass, Golden Perch (or Yellow Belly) and Murray Cod. Our catch and release policy ensures that there are plenty of fish for all to enjoy catching. This is a great place for kids to learn more about fish, fishing, birdlife and the environment. A trip to EcoPark is a great family getaway and would also make an excellent treat for your child’s next birthday party. It’s easy to work up an appetite fishing or just being in the open air so don’t forget to bring a picnic or use one of the many free BBQs in this idyllic park setting. Included In Price
The fishing fee allows access to all fishing ponds with all the equipment supplied and free fly fishing lessons if desired. You can swap rods and try your hand at Fly Fishing and vice versa. You will be supplied with ongoing bait, burley and hooks for the duration of your stay whether you stay for a couple hours or the whole day. You will be provided with special environets to net your catch. The park supplies and only allows the use of barbless hooks. This ensures maximum protection of the fish against harm and keeps you safer too.
Rods come with bait and burley, nets and tackle.

Participant Guidelines
When you bring your own rod, (fees still apply) there are some limitations on the kind of tackle used as all care is taken to protect the fish. Fishing is catch and release only.

$10 admittance fee for people aged 12 and over
$5 admittance fee for children ages 6 - 11
children under 6 are admitted free of charge
$40 Per fishing Permit - Rods can be used by as many people as desired (1 rod per permit)
If you are wishing to bring your own rod, you still have to pay for a fishing permit.
All bait and tackle are included in this price.

Adults are classed as 12 years and older. Children aged 6-11 are $5 for admittance 6 and under free admittance fee.
A permit is required for each person wanting to fish.
You may like to come and inspect our park and reserve a specific area for your group, where you can then also discuss details about any other equipment which you may need like additional seating, trestle tables, marquee, umbrellas etc.
Catering and Waiters
EcoPark prides itself in offering a flexible service and meeting the needs of individual visitors to the park and can offer a range of alternatives including making your day an enjoyable experience.
Alcohol
The availability of bar/waiter service for drinks can be negotiated and EcoPark is a BYO alcohol facility.
Wheelchair Access
Don’t let a wheelchair keep you home. Eco-Park is wheelchair accessible with access to toilets and almost all areas of the park. There is also a custom build wheelchair available on site
Pets not permitted
People love to bring their pets out for the day as well, but it can upset the quiet enjoyment of others as well as the fauna in the park. For this reason pets are not permitted in the park.
