Description
Cradle Mountain Horseriding and Quad Bike Tours are operated by Cradle Country Adventures. Horseriding experiences are now offered in two spectacular locations.
Novice riders are offered the unique opportunity of horseriding through the spectacular Vale of Belvoir conservation area, right on the edge of the Cradle Mountain World Heritage Area.
Our more experienced or adventurous riders are looked after at our home base at Kimberley (mid way between Launceston and Cradle Mountain.)
The “Speeler Plain” Ride:
We pick you up from your Cradle Mountain accommodation or the visitors centre and take you to the stables at the base of the Speeler Plain.
Fit out with helmets and boots prior to a safety briefing and introduction to your horses.
Your ride climbs up through the changing mix of Alpine Eucalypt and Myrtle Forest to the button grass plains at the top of The Speeler Plain.
This is THE VIEW of Cradle Mountain, Barn Bluff, Western Bluff, Mt.Roland and Black Bluff.
This is the most spectacular vista available to our guests without having to do some serious bushwalking!
Even more importantly the only people you share it with are your Horse, your Guide and a maximum of three other Guests!
